About the Artist

Hi! I’m Camryn, a sophomore majoring in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences. While my main focus is on communication, I also have a strong interest in digital art. I really enjoy experimenting with different design techniques and working on various projects, like creating digital art and designing posters. . My background in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences gives me a different perspective on communication, which helps me in my artwork. By understanding how people interpret and process information, I like the idea of creating designs that are not only visually appealing but also clear in their message. This blend of communication skills and creative design is something I find exciting and rewarding. Even though I’m still learning and growing in the field of digital art, I’m eager to explore more and develop my skills further. I’m excited to see how my academic knowledge and creative interests will come together as I continue through this class. I find joy in the process of creating and exploring new ideas, and I’m looking forward to discovering where this combination of my studies and my hobby will lead me. I've always really enjoyed art and was really introduced to art in high school when I started a taking jewelry and small sculpture class which I took for 3 years. Below are some photos I took while spending my summer in Alaska as well as some pictures of the jewelry I made in high school.
