My webventure explores the experience of using Tinder on a phone. The idea came from thinking about how much of our lives revolve around swiping on apps, especially when it comes to something as personal as dating. I wanted to capture the weirdness, excitement, and sometimes emptiness of connecting with people through a screen.

In this project, users "like" and "dislike" through different profiles, but instead of perfect nice guys, each profile has a twist. Each swipe leads to a different path in the story, showing how these paths can overlap and change based on our decisions. I used photoshop to help create GIFs and to create the text messages as well as the profiles. All of these are meant to immerse users in the digital dating world.

I made my webventure to question whether apps like Tinder really bring us closer to others or just make relationships feel disposable. The project is meant to make people think about their own experiences with online dating and whether it’s about finding connection or just passing time. My hope is that this project makes people laugh, reflect, and maybe even put their phones down, at least for a little while.
